General
Online platforms are built to sell inventory. A travel advisor is built to design a trip. When you work with Gilt Spur Concierge, you get a single dedicated point of contact, preferred-partner amenities at participating properties, expert recommendations grounded in real relationships with suppliers, and a person who is in your corner if something needs to change while you are away. The cost to you is most often the same as booking direct.
We combine the global buying power of one of the industry's leading travel networks with the discretion and attentiveness of a private concierge. Our clients are not transactions. We design itineraries we would take ourselves, communicate clearly, and stay close throughout the journey.
Discerning travelers planning luxury vacations, cruises, all-inclusive resorts, Disney getaways, and corporate travel, alongside horse show clients ranging from individual exhibitors to full barns competing at the highest levels of the sport.
Luxury Travel
Most hotel, resort, cruise, and vacation bookings carry no planning fee — we are compensated directly by our travel partners. Highly custom itineraries, multi-destination trips, large group travel, and research-intensive requests may carry a planning fee, always quoted and approved in writing before any work begins. Full details are on our Booking & Concierge Policies page.
For the majority of our bookings, we are compensated directly by the travel supplier through their standard advisor program. The rate you pay is the same as booking direct. Planning fees only apply to specific kinds of work, always disclosed in advance.

In most cases, yes. Paid stays booked through our advisor channels typically continue to earn qualifying points and stay credits. We will confirm eligibility for each specific reservation.
Sometimes. Award-night redemptions are handled differently by every brand and may limit our ability to layer in preferred-partner amenities. When points are on the table, we'll walk through the trade-offs together so you can decide what makes the most sense for the trip.
Possibly. Reservation takeovers and the addition of preferred-partner amenities depend on the supplier, the rate type, and how the original booking was made. Reach out before assuming anything — a quick conversation usually settles it.
Yes. Through our affiliation with Fora Travel, we participate in preferred programs at a global network of hotels, resorts, cruise lines, villas, and yachts. Amenities vary by property and rate but are designed to elevate the stay at no additional cost to you.
Depending on the property and program, benefits can include complimentary upgrades at check-in, full breakfast daily, property or resort credits, early check-in and late checkout, welcome amenities, and recognition as a VIP guest. On cruises and at villas, benefits may include shipboard credits, specialty dining, and curated extras.

AQHA, APHA, NSBA, NRHA, Pinto, ApHC, and most open and breed-specific circuits — from regional shows to world championships, congresses, and futurities.

Support
Your request is reviewed personally and acknowledged promptly. We confirm timing expectations from the start and follow up with a tailored proposal or a set of clarifying questions, depending on the scope of the request.
Your assigned concierge is your direct point of contact throughout the trip, with a backup channel available outside of standard hours for active travel days.
Reach out as soon as you know. We work directly with suppliers to adjust reservations, rebook flights, and update ground arrangements wherever possible. Change-fee policies vary by supplier and rate, and we will always communicate the options and costs clearly before making any changes on your behalf.
